Do you need a shot list
We kind of follow the shot list in that we will be shoulder to shoulder with the photographer while they take family photos but as far as the highlight goes we like to let the day evolve and base the edit on the story of that day. It sounds like super artistic and cliche but you just never really know until the day of what the highlight is gonna look like. There are obvious things we will never miss, the first kiss, the first dance, cake cutting etc. but if there are any other unique elements or things that we other wise wouldn't know about it's great to have that info ahead of time. For example, if there is a certain family member or friend that you know you have to have in the highlight film please feel free to let us know ahead of time. Sometimes there may be a big surprise, those things are nice to know about before hand.
How do you offer film the interviews or letter readings?
When making your timeline, if you could carve out about 10 minutes for the bride and 10 minutes for the groom to read their letters on camera that would be great. Generally done right before the bride puts on her dress and is in her full make up. On the other hand some brides prefer to read the letters prior to putting on their full make up. We really try to not make this a big thing or inconvenience the couple on their wedding day but having an empty room, just the camera and the letter reader is ideal. Normally we will get the audio tested and camera set up, hit record and leave the room, leaving only the letter reader. That also means asking the photographer to stay out. We understand that they will definitely want to capture that moment as well but the clicks of the camera will get picked up by the microphone and lessen the impact of the letter reading. The photographer is more than welcome to take some photos right before and right after they read the letter.
What if we already have a photographer?
No sweat we play nice with others. Austin really feels like wedding capital of the world and our local vendors definitely reflect that. We love meeting and working with new creatives every week.

What if our wedding runs late?
We understand that stuff happens so we don't really charge for additional hours and we’ll stick it out to the end(within reason of course)
Do charge extra for travel?
Cloud Craft is DTF (down to FLY!) and we will travel just about anywhere. Slide into our DMs with details and we will let you know the potential cost(if any)
How Long does it take to get our videos?
We totally understand that no one likes to sit around and wait for their wedding videos. I mean let’s be honest, people get married every weekend and it would be a real shame is Susie stole the spotlight! So we like to get our edits done in 6 weeks or less, delivered via Vimeo for instant download, before all the excitement has worn off.
What’s up with the drone?
Drones are one of many tools in our toolbox, if used properly they can be an extremely effective cinematic device but we don’t want to overdue it. A FAA Part 107 licensed pilot will get great drone footage (weather permitting.) Obviously we can not fly near an airport or military base.
Do you put a little logo in the corner of the film?
We don't watermark the films but we do add a banner at the end with credits for the film makers.
Can we pick the music?
We will gladly edit a version of the highlight with your favorite song but the big guys are really cracking down on copyright infringement. So unfortunately a video with your favorite song will likely be flagged and removed by major social media and video hosting websites. THE GOOD NEWS! we have a subscription to an awesome website with thousands of copyright free songs specifically designed for videos like yours.
